You are cordially invited To the FIRST ARMADILLO district Adult leader appreciation banquet Thursday, December 11, 2008, starting at 6:30 p.m. This will be the first District Banquet for the Armadillo District, so you don’t want to miss it. All adult leaders of Cub, Boy, Varsity, Venture, and Sea Scouts are invited to attend and to bring adult guests. The theme for the dinner will be Scouting in the new Millenium. Our speaker will be Milton Lee, the CEO of CPS, the gas supplier for the City of San Antonio. Scouting in the new Millenium. Horns of Excellence

The Horns of Excellence Award is given by the Armadillo District to recognize an individual’s outstanding contribution to Scouting at the unit or district level. While there are no specific requirements for this award, an individual’s contribution of time and energy should be regarded as highly valuable by the members of the unit or district and deserving special public recognition. The nomination should include personal knowledge of the candidate’s efforts and achievements.
