Photo Submission Guidelines

Armadillo District is happy to display photos of District events submitted by Scouts and Scouters alike. Please follow the instructions below to ensure the best results.Photo Criteria

v     Photos should be in .JPEG or .JPG format of no more than 250kb

v     Screen resolution of 100-150 LPI (lines per inch)

v     Screen size of 600 x 600 DPI (dots per inch)

New District Committee Formed! 

Last night at the first Annual District D Business Meeting the members present elected District Committee Leadership for the 2008 inception of the new District. Leading the election was Shep Strong, Capitol Area Council VP of Operations and member of the Council Redistricting Committee, assisted by the District Nominating Committee. The first action of the Committee was to ratify the name of the new District “D” as the Armadillo District. The Armadillo District becomes official effective January 1, 2008. 

The district has three major divisions:

• District Professionals
• District Committee
• District Commissioner Corps

The leaders in these three areas comprise what is known as the Key Three. The District Committee is further divided into areas that address our major programs and activities.  Colored blocks link to the subcommittee charts.

The district is always trying to improve communications between our adult leaders. Our hope is that the new district website will a big part of making your jobs more fun and productive.
