What is Roundtable?
The Roundtable of the Armadillo District is the premier event for new and experienced scouters to get questions about Scouting answered. It is not just an event for old guys in uniforms. It is designed to encourage participation by new Scouters and parents who want to see their children succeed in Scouting. It is also designed to provide hands on, practical knowledge to Scout leaders.
When is Roundtable?
The Armadillo District Roundtable is held on the second Thursday of every month. Check the calendar for the latest details. Normally there are light refreshments and time for fellowship from 6:30 - 7:00 pm. The program starts at 7:00 pm with general announcements, then there are breakouts for Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and sometimes other topics. Check the Armadillo website the week before Roundtable to see what this month's breakouts will cover.
Where is Roundtable?
The Armadillo District Roundtable meets at the Frank Fickett Scout Training and Service Center, 12500 N. IH 35. The building is located on the southbound frontage of IH-35 just south of Parmer Lane. Please enter through the front doors to the building facing IH-35. Enter the foyer and take a right. We'll be down in one of the large meeting rooms on the left.
