 2008 Council Recruiting Promotion and Advertising Plan
These efforts will drive traffic to find Join Cub Scout Night events at your Pack. Interested families will be directed to the Council website where units and their events will be listed. To take advanatge of this effort and connect families with your Pack you will need to provide us with your event date, location, and time. The Council begins posting this information August 18.

Join Cub Scout Night Calendar
 Did you know every new Scout that joins this August or September will receive a free Pinewood Derby car kit courtesy of Gatti's Pizza - and will be invited to an exclusive practice of the University of Texas Longhorn football team this fall, hosted by former Scout, Head Coach Mack Brown? What great incentives for boys to join and get in on the fun of Scouting! Don't miss this opportunity to learn more.
The start of the school year is a great time for families who are interested in getting started in Scouting to join. "Join Cub Scouting Nights" offer families of boys in the first through fifth grades the chance to find out what Scouting is all about, and ask leaders questions. To help prepare you for success this Fall, we invite you to a fun and engaging session about our Fall Recruiting campaign.
Now is the time to get your membership plan of action in motion, order all needed materials and walk out with some new ideas for a great Fall program!
