New opportunity to take Venture Leader Specific Training August 23rd.

If you can't get to the Armadillo District Venture Leader Training September 27, this is another opportunity being offered by our friends in Georgetown in the San Gabriel District.

The location is right here in downtown Austin :

This course will entail coverage of Venturing's Mission and Methods, roles of adult and youth leaders, health and safety regulations, Crew organization, resources and program planning, Awards and Recognition, along with specific information pertaining to Sea Scouting.

All Commissioners, Venturing Adult Leaders and Adult Sea Scout Ship Leaders including Advisors, Associate Advisors, Skippers, Consultants, and Crew and Ship Committee Members are invited and encouraged to attend.

Please do not register / pre-pay at the Scout office as they do not have an account set up for us. Registration will be available starting at 8:00 AM but we would appreciate an e-mail heads up on who will be attending.

Time and Cost:
8:00 am (Registration) to 2:30 pm (Sea Scout Leader Specific Training will be offered afterwards if needed for about 2 hours)

Cost - $8.00 at the door only (includes snacks, materials, and CD, lunch on your own)
