Fundraising

The Armadillo District Finance Committee manages all of the district-wide activities related to unit and district fundraising.  The committee has three primary responsibilites:

• review and approve Unit fundraising activities
• Popcorn sales
• Friends of Scouting
• Council Ask Luncheon

The Capitol Area Council has a very informative website related to the costs of Scouting and how funds are raised here.

Units that plan on conducting their own fundraising actvities need to complete this form and then send it to the Council office.  The completed Unit Money-Earning Application may be hand delivered, mailed or faxed to the Capitol Area Council Scout Office at 7540 Ed Bluestein Blvd, Austin, Texas 78723-2399, Phone: 512-926-6363 or 1-800-444-1910, Fax: 512-926-6870.
