Roundtable

Armadillo roundtable logoIn the days of Camelot, King Arthur called the knights of the realm to convene at a round table to share their deeds in the best practices of knighthood. At the round table all were equal with the king from the oldest baron to the newest knight.

On the second Thursday of every month, another group of virtuous people – Scouting volunteers – converge upon the tables in the cafeteria of St. Martin’s Lutheran Church, 606 W. 15th Street, Austin (enter on the north side – 16th St. ) Whether you have been an adult Scouter for 20 days or 20 years, you will walk away from the Roundtable with new insights and best practices to bring back to your unit.

We begin each month’s Roundtable with gathering at 6:30 and program starting at 7:00. In the opening session there are announcements and topics of interest to all, then we break into separate sessions for Cub Scout and Boy Scout volunteers. Other sessions topics are sometimes offered; check your monthly district newsletter!
