Welcome to the new Armadillo District website!
Order of the Arrow - Armadillo Chapter
The Order of the Arrow is the National Honor Society of Scouting America, composed of Scouts and Scouters who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives as elected by their peers. Tonkawa Lodge 99 is affiliated with the Capitol Area Council and its chapters correspond to the CAC districts. This page is for the Armadillo Chapter.
The Armadillo Chapter is excited to announce its new leadership team:
Chapter Advisor: Justin Smith
Youth Officers:
Chapter Chief: Elijah C.
Vice Chief: Marshall P.
Vice Chief: Joseph G.
Secretary: Kai B.
We invite all Arrowmen to join us for our next Chapter Meeting: Thursday Aug. 6, 6:30 pm at the Fickett Center. This meeting is a great opportunity to meet the new leadership team, hear about upcoming events, and learn how to become more involved in the Order of the Arrow.
If your Troop needs to schedule an election team to administer your OA election, please contact the Chapter Advisor with possible dates. We will do our best to accommodate your needs. Refer to the eligibility requirements for youth and adults.
The chapter is expanding opportunities for Arrowmen to serve through new executive officer and committee positions. Committee positions are a great way to become involved without a large time commitment, while officer positions provide valuable leadership experience and help prepare youth for future OA leadership roles.
The Armadillo Chapter is also forming a new Ceremonies Team and will begin practicing soon. Youth Arrowmen interested in learning more or participating are encouraged to complete the interest form:
See the Tonkawa Lodge calendar for information on the next Assembly.
