The Armadillo District is one of twelve geographic subdivisions in the Capitol Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America, which serves the youth in 15 counties in Central Texas. The district covers an area in Austin roughly bounded by Ben White Blvd. on the south, I-35 on the east (and including the Mueller Development), Parmer Lane on the north and the western AISD boundary on the west. With one Council professional and about 900 adult volunteers, we serve 2,200 Scouts in our part of Austin and are striving each day to serve more.
